Hi !
I've set up a logbook as another attempt to centralise our knowledge and to share information concerning High Availability.
What it is?
It's a logbook where you can enter remarks, questions, solutions, note's to share with others. It is searchable on almost anything.
I think it can be a valuable addition to our effort.
You can reach it here:

Hope to see your entries soon :-)

I can't seem to reach that link --- anyone else having problems?
-
Yes, everybody except me....
I'm working on it.
Here's the situation.
The logbook is a seperate webserver-deamon that listens on a port that you can define yourself. I chose port 8080. Now it works for me and from some locations here in town (on the same cable-net). So..
1. I have to open port 8080
2. Have to make sure that my security isn't harmed
steve is helping me out, but were're not here yet.
Anybody?
Thanks,
guestHH

Well, you could run phpBB as a message forum instead of the log book. Just a thought.... doesn't require opening or port forwarding any ports (and/or compromising your security).

Looks like I have to look in to that one Ari.
I'll think it over, thanks.

The logbook didn't make it due to the GREAT Firewall capabilities of MITEL SME.
And that's no joke :-)
