Title: Backup Tape Report

Hi,

I've installed SME 5.1.2 onto a Compaq Prolaint ML330 server, and everyhting is working fine. I have enabled tape backups at 22:00. I was wondering can a backup report be e-mailed to the system administrator??

One already should be in the admin box :)

It gives the full output from the backup script (using the dump command).

This is sent to the admin mailbox unless you specified those messages to be sent to another email address.

Hi Rob,

I think you have to find the actual backup script, and at the end append add an extar e-mail adress. Idon't know by hart where is located, but make sure that you create a custom template for it.

Robert,

just open Server Manager in a browser and insert your actual e-mail address under Configuration -> Other e-mail settings and you'll regularly receive a complete flexbackup notification of every backup job done.
