Hi,
we have a requirement to install an mail solution to a customer, that we have identified e-smith as being the product of choice.
My question is this:
we have two domains registered...
company.com.au and company.co.nz
can I run e-mail for both domains, which reside within the same internal network, on the one e-smith box?
Any help greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Andrew

Absolutely. The users will be reachable at both domains - there is
one user community across all domains configured on the server.

Yes, I have this working as Gordon stated.
Gordon I do have one issue that I would appreciate you commenting on if you could please. As in Andrew's case we have two registered domain names abc.com & xyz.com that have external web & mail provisioned by an ISP. I have abc.com set up as the e-smith domain and xyz.com defined as a virtual domain.
For inbound mail I pop off the accumulated mail via a customized fetchmail script. For outbound mail it works a-ok for all users of each domain, SMTP being the e-smith box.
The problem I have is that the external internet home page for the 2nd domain, xyz.com, is not visible from inside the network - instead they get the xyc.com i-bay when the URL www.xyz.com is used. If we use the URL www.abc.com its outside internet home page is displayed.
I understand why this is happening as you pick an i-bay to point to when you create the virtual domain. This is perfect for us with live cable/DSL access that host our own web site & mail but for the dial-up shops that house their web & mail externally what do you suggest? They would want to be able to see/review their own external web sites. For their intranet they would be fine with e-smith/xyzibay. Can I remove the e-smith action of redirecting www.xyz.com to the local server without clobbering the functioning mail?
Oh, the server is 4.1 with no patches applied.

Set up www.xyz.com in the "Hostnames and Addresses" panel to point to
the address of external web site.
