Title: Samba 2.2.2 upgrade to 2.2.3a
Post by: Patrick on March 21, 2002, 10:25:02 AM
Hello everyone,

I'm interested in hearing about experiences running Samba 2.2.3a on SME V 5.1.2, and how the upgrade process went (from 2.2.2) and what if any problems were encountered or experienced along the way.

Has anyone put together an SME package for upgrading to Samba 2.2.3a?  Or are there instructions (step by step) for doing a "manual" upgrade?  Thanks.

Regards,
Patrick

Try this:

http://myezserver.com/downloads/mitel/contrib/samba-2.2.3-a/

with this:

rpm -Uvh *.rpm
/etc/rc.d/init.d/smb restart

Darrell
