Title: HALF LIFE SERVER> HOW TO BUILD ONE

how can i build a hl server on e-smith??? and do i need the VALVE dir etc to run it and how can i edit ld.so.conf... plz give a 1step per time explanation about the editing of the file...

There is a full FAQ for a CounterStrike server on SME right here:

Wherever it mentions CounterStrike, substitute the files and name for whatever mod you are installing, i.e., DOD, TFC, etc...
