Title: Webmail defaults to "admin"
Post by: Charlie on April 02, 2002, 06:03:45 PM
This isn't a big problem and would like to change this to learn more about e-smith and linux. When I navigate to mydomain.com/webmail the username is populated with "admin". I'd like it blank. This happens from multiple computers so I don't think it is a local cache issue. I've rebooted e-smith hoping to clear its cache. Any ideaas? BTW, I've upgraded to imp 3.0.

It's a IMP3 issue, other people have reported it as well. Mine shows up with a user of "mp3" all the time. I don't have a "mp3" user, but I do have a "mp3" ibay. I don't think there is a resolution for this at this time.

Hi,
This has nothing to do with the question, but how did you (Terry) alter the error message when trying http://brummell.net/mp3 ??

Look at Craig's postings in this thread, it'll show you how to change the default error pages:

I am edited the row in the file: /home/httpd/html/horde/imp/templates/login/login.inc
and just deleted value="= Horde::getFormData('imapuser', getenv('REMOTE_USER')) ?>"
I am not see any reason, why it must be there.

Fixed in IMP 3.1 maybe? I haven't had that problem for a long time now, 150+ users on the webmail only. Anyway, I would really consider the upgrade to IMP 3.1 It integrates the addressbook a little better with IMP. Nate
