Title: Reporting tool
Post by: stitch on April 17, 2002, 03:10:29 AM
Comrades,

Is there a way to produce a log (maybe through a utility or script) of basic performance and server health stats for SME v5x. I've noticed ntop and LogTrend being touted on this board before. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

thanks,
stitch

There was an older rpm called e-smith-monitor (I'm still running it under sme 5.1.2) which appears to have been replaced with eneo-monitor
ftp://ftp.e-smith.org/pub/e-smith/contrib/eneo/RPMS/noarch/

Unfortunately I haven't found a howto, so don't know if the install is any different from the older one (doco still in that directory).

Also, web stats can be obtained via awstats see
