Has anyone installed the Jukebox RPMs to stream MP3s? I installed it ok, but when I try to stream an MP3, my windows mediaplayer just gives me an error message saying it can't find the file I want to stream, even though it is actually there?
It would be nice to get it working...
Thanks.

Edit your c:\windows\hosts file (if you don't have one, rename hosts.sam). Put an entry name in it for your machine. So if you e-smith box thinks that it is www.esmithbox.com, and the internal address is 192.168.1.100, put an entry in that looks like:
192.168.0.100 www.esmithbox.com
The mpu file the server creates and sends down to your workstation contains the name the server thinks it should be called. Unless you control your local DNS, it has no idea how to connect to the named box. Adding the entry above tells Windoze how to get there.
Good luck!

ps - This is exactly what happened to me. I could download, but not stream.
