Hi
I have asituation where access to an NT machine running exchange so the MS web interface to Outlook can be used. Before the SME went in (had direct net access via windows dialup) the Outlook interface was fine. Since installing the SME now the login occurs but the folders do not display. It shows 'Working...' (or some other simjilar message) and stis forever.
My guess is the IIS server at the far end is coming back on a port that is SME firewalled and hence the connection is not completed.Does anyone kow if this is correct? and if so what port do I need to open up.
Thanks in advance
kevin

Your Webinteface to the Exchange server is using NTLM authorization, chances are E-Smith is firewalling this. Ipmasqadm autofw/portfw may be intercepting and not forwarding these packets. I'd run /sbin/tcpdump and see what kind of packet flow to that exchange server you're getting.

If you're using SME 5.1.2 and Exchange 2000, you need to disable transparent proxy. The problem is on the Exchange side and the use of proxy servers.
I cant remeber the MS Technet article, but if you do a search for 'OWA' & 'proxy' you will find the relevant infoi.
Hope that helps.
Andrew.
