>>>> HELO staff.iinet.net.au
<<< 250 mydomain.com pleased to meet you, staff.iinet.net.au

To: my_account@mydomain.com
From: spamtest@localhost
>>>> MAIL FROM:
<<< 250 sender is , sender OK
>>>> RCPT TO:
<<< 250 recipient , recipient OK
>>>> DATA
<<< 354 OK End with .
>>>> MESSAGE
<<< 250 Message accepted for delivery
SUCCESS

Relay Accepted - final response code 250

As I can prevent this?  I belive that my mail server are good configured....
The rules in optuse are bad?
I need a firewall to work better?
Any idea?
Thanks in advance.

I just tried as well.  I didn't realize at first but what I did was "spamming" one of my email accounts *known* to the server.  And yes, mail was sent in.  It's supposed to receive mail and that's what it did!

Try the same link but then sending to your hotmail/yahoo account, or make something up.  It'll say

551 Sorry members.iinet.net.au (203.59.24.150), I don't allow unauthorized relaying. You can't use me to send mail from to [address]

FAILURE

Unfortunately the program failed because...

The host machine does not relay

FAILURE

Unfortunately the program failed because...

The host machine does not relay"

That's okay, I was shocked with my first positive open relay result too!  :)
