Title: Hbedv Antivirus - help
Post by: Steven Thomson on May 27, 2002, 01:32:34 PM
Has anyone successfully set up hbedv antivirus - ie. avmailgate on their e-smith box yet?
I have tried and everything seems to go smoothly but it just doesn't seem to want to run. I'd appreciate anyone letting me know if they have it running.

Thanks

Hi,
I've downloaded and installed AvMailGate VexINS-AVMailGate-1.0-4.noarch.rpm. The inconvenience that I have is that when some user wants to send mails outside of the local net using my servant SMTP, he gives me the following error.  The result was that all relaying was denied (error 552). SMTP was up and running but not accepting any emails. As I make to admit my users they use my servant SMTP.  Didn't have time to investigate, checked only /etc/avmailgate.acl, saw that all networks/hosts were autodetected. Default avmailgate.conf used...
If anyone had same problem and time to solve it, please post the solution.

Regards
