Title: Accessing E-Mail via pop3
Post by: Andrew Dickinson on March 07, 2001, 01:48:45 AM
We have some users on our network that need to access an external pop3 box. E-smith doesnt seem to allow this to happen.  What changes do I need to make?
Any help would be much appreciated.

It certainly does. Are you using DHCP for your client configuration? If not, is the e-smith server IP address configure as the default gateway of your clients?

We aren't using e-smith as our DHCP server, as it is sitting in a W2K domain.  I shall have a look at the gateway settings.

Thanks for your help.

Andrew.
