I'd like to connect my SME 5.1 servers (one in the office and another at home), they are both connected to ADSL and have dyndns applied.
Let's assume that one server's workgroup is WORKGROUP1 and the other is WORKGROUP2.
How would I go about setting up a VPN connection from one to the other?
If I am on WORKGROUP1 computer and create a VPN link to WORKGROUP2, the connection establishes, but I cannot see anything in the Network Neighborhood panel (XP and Windows 2000 the same). However if I change the workgroup's name to correspond to the network I am connecting to through VPN, then the network neighborhood works.
Is there a way to achieve this?
Comments appreciated.

Thanx for the link Andrei, I have looked at that, but unfortunately as I do not have static IP addresses, I cannot utilize this method.
I have dynamic addresses, but both are registered with dyndns.
I did install freeswan, but as it expects IP addresses rather than URL's, it was a no go, unless I continuously update the IP addresses whenever I want to get both servers connected, which is cumbersome...
Anyone cracked this yet?

I would strongly suggest that if you are trying to do this, but Smoothwall Corpoarte server which is an excellent product and purchase 2 copies, one for both ends and this will be very easy for you to do VPN with....
Smoothwall can be found at http://www.smoothwall.co.uk

It seems that SmoothWall is a replacement for e-Smith which I do not want to do... is there a way to do this within e-Smith?
