Title: access using web brower

using web brower in access outside realworld ftpsite

address "ftp://username:password@ip address or ftp.XDCXX.com

this error comes up

the folder

"ftp://username:password@ip address
is read-only because the proxy server is not set up to allow full access.

to move, paste, rename, or delete files, you must use a
different proxy, for information on changing your
proxy, contact your administrator.

ftp is public, normal

please help

Greetings

I had a not disimilar rpoblem with my setup and found the following workrounds

1 Use a "proper" ftp client
2 Dont use Windows9x
3 If using Windows2000, upgrade to Internet Explorer 6 and set the advanced options to "Enable Folder View for ftp sites" and "Enable PASV mode"
