Title: Max Idle time setting?

First I wish to thank,(robert2_AT_dds.nl) for helping to set me in the right direction on my perl 5 script problem..solved.  My question is this...I have sprint dsl service, and before I set up my SME server I had a router for my network. In the router settings I had to set a max idle time or get disconnected from Isp. With my Sme server I am getting dropped and have to toggle power on modem to get proxy settings on the network. Could this be my modem...or do I have a max idle time to reset?
