Title: anyone setup e-smith on a linksys router/switch with @home?
Post by: Ty Tong on March 08, 2001, 11:01:41 PM
I'm just curious because that's the setup I have at home and before I proceed with this little project I'd like to know what problems I might be encountering.

I have a cable connection with the linksys router: all you have to do is setup the e-smith box as an internet server only and forward the needed ports to the correct ip.

That's it.

Systems connected to the Internet should be configured
as server-gateway so that packet filtering is enabled on
the external interface.
