I bet you're trying to get Squid to AUTH with PAM right?  I had problems finding that tarball as well.

If you tell me what you are trying to do I could probably help you further, but the above post is one by you asking about Squid + Pam Auth.

Lloyd Keen said i can download the rpm from here: http://www.comnetel.com/tmp-mitel-pam-auth-0.1-1.noarch.rpm for the authentication.

I currently using SME 5.1.2 with squidguard30, the reason i installed e-smith-squid-0.2-8.i386.rpm is because i want to have proxy user authentication prompt before it access through squid.

If you download and install the rpm then you don't need pam_auth.tar.gz. Someone has already packaged it up with all the e-smith specific mods. Just install the rpm, rebuild the template, restart squid and point your browser at the proxy.
