I have tried to setup an e-smith 5.1.2 with an extra netcard, so that the configuration is like:
eth0: 192.168.0.x - local administrative net
eth1: 192.168.1.x - ADSL
eth2: 10.0.0.x - extra net with no rights to administrate but should have access to the Internet.
I would like to have the e-smith server to run DHCP on the eth2 net ( default installation DHCP runs on eth0) and routed traffic to and from the Internet. Further I would like to use the fine framework within the e-smith server, so the server can be managed by virtually anyboddy without much knowlegde to servers and gateways.
I have added the eth2 card using the expand-template command and I can ping to and from a Windows 98 client on eth2 net. But no traffic is routed to the Internet.
I get Network not accessible, when manually trying to add a route.
The eth0 and eth2 cards uses the same driver Realtech 8239.
How do I get this setup running?
