Title: IPSEC and network neigborhood
Post by: Geert Jansen on June 18, 2002, 03:05:24 AM
Hello forum,

Situation:
I have succesfully connected two Mitel SME 5.12 server-gateway boxes via Freeswan. Both Mitel boxes act as server and gateway. Both local networks consists of nt4-workstations exclusevely. Clients on both sides can be accessed using their ip-adresses. But in Network Neighborhood only the internal domain and workstations are visible.

Is there a way to make both the domains visisble in network neighborhood on both sides of the Freeswan tunnel?

With the details below, i just need the workstations in network A subnet 192.168.0.* to be able to browse network B and vise versa.

Network A:

Netmask:   255.255.252.0
PDC:       192.168.0.2     NT4 'MINDPOWER' (James Brown classic)
Domain:    BRAINSGROUP
Gateway:   192.168.0.1     Mitel SMEServer5 'SEXMACHINE'
Internet:  Cablemodem, static IP
Lan:       NT4-workstation boxes divided into subnets:
           192.168.0.* 192.168.1*
           192.168.2.* 192.168.3.*

Network B:

Netmask:   255.255.255.0
PDC:       192.168.10.1    Mitel SMEServer5 'SOULPOWER'
Domain:    MANSWORLD
Gateway:   192.168.10.1    Mitel SMEServer5 'SOULPOWER'
Internet:  Cablemodem, static IP
Lan:       NT4-workstation boxes. 192.168.10.*

Any help is greately appreciated.

Did you ever get this working?  I have the same WINS problem with SME 5.6.
