I'm very sorry. I posted this message in the wrong phorum (whish)
Here it's better.
Hello,
I tried the module described in http://forums.contribs.org/index.php?topic=19927.msg78381#msg78381 ( about sharing files with windows messenger)
on SME 5.1.2 and it works great for sending files with Windows messenger.
But I have a Philips TouCam Pro, and I cannot initialize the video connection through SME. Inside the personnal network it's great, but from inside to outside, the video connection fails saying " the computer you tried to reach has a problem, please try later".
My configuration is : 2 XP Pro with windows messenger behind 2 SME 5.1.2 with on both the module loaded. (I don't use squid)
==> Chat ok
==> files ok
==> voice and video , connection failed
My questions are :
Is there a module for that ?
Do I mistake somewhere ?
PS : Sorry for my poor english.

the ports needed for video and audio are closed outside the server.
Then, you can see and hear within your network but you are behind a "firewall" that prevents your lan and/or server to be accessed by ports that are not suposed to accept incoming or outgoing traffic.

Hello,
Can it works forwarding ports from SME to a client behind SME ?
Bye.

I think not!! because msn use random ports!!

I found that while browsing the web :
MSN Messenger
(Watch Out! Opens a wide port range!)
NOTE: Shut off any personal firewall programs such as BlackIce, ZoneAlarm, etc.
Ports 6891-6900 enable File send,
Port 6901 is for voice communications
Allows Voice, PC to Phone, Messages, and Full File transfer capabilities.
Thnx to Brad King & Bill Finch Jr.

due to NetMeeting assigning ports dynamically.)

I want to try this solution, but I cannot be the same time on both clients !
