Whenever I try to access my account management pages with my ISP, I get one of the following errors:
1. There is no login session associated with the machine you're coming from. This is most likely due to not having the ams-server in your browser's proxy exclusion list.
2. ERROR - The requested URL could not be retrieved
While trying to retrieve the URL: bcoba-server.bigpond.net.au:8443
The following error was encountered:
Access Denied.
Access control configuration prevents your request from being allowed at this time. Please contact your service provider if you feel this is incorrect.
Your cache administrator is admin@xxx.com.au
Can anyone shed some light on this one, please
Alec

Have you forced the Proxy server on that machine?
You might find adding 8443 to the SSL ports in squid.conf
(specifically /etc/e-smith/templates/etc/squid/squid.conf/20ACL15SSL_ports )
will allow CONNECTs through squid.
Either that or turn off SSL proxying on that machine...
Just a thought,

Try putting bcoba-server.bigpond.net.au:8443 in the "Don't use the Proxy Server for the following addresses" list in the proxy settings of your web browser.
You should get straight through then.

Thanks for your replies & sorry to say that none of the suggestions worked. I'll put some more thought into this problem and then re-post with more info.
FWIW, this PC has no problems when I connect through a Netgear RT314 router. I only have the problem when using SME 5.1.2 as a gateway.
Thanks again
