Hi,

I have diferent need. I need to pass UDP multicast packets over a VPN tunnel.

I know that is not your question but I'm quite interested in all expirences related with multicast and the SME server.

I alredy asked if someone had instaled zebra or pimd into sme, with no answers til now.

I'm making some experiments with freeswan ipsec tunnels with some gre tunnel inside. That way I hope, i will be able to pass the multicast packeges.

But I still need to route the multicast packeges over the tunnel. For that I'm tring to use zebra for the moment.

If you could share you experience, I'll be glad.

Regarding of streaming over the sme there is some juckbox aplications for mp3 files that I know of. But i do not know if that is you goal.
