Title: Shares on my remote server as local
Post by: Ruusvuu on June 26, 2002, 07:32:20 AM
A while ago I added my (remote) server's address as a local network on my (local) server.  I then could not view any of my websites, could not SSH to my server, nor ftp to my server (all remote).

Needless to say I immediately removed the remote server as a local network and all was well again.

Does anyone know how I can (if I can) create and see remote shares from my server on my local LAN workgroup?

Thnak you.

I have never tried VPN and I don't know what it takes.
Do I need to VPN to do this?
