Title: "make" command
Post by: Steve on June 27, 2002, 09:06:19 AM
I just tried to "make" a program on e-smith and realized the make program has been removed.  Is there any way to add it back?  Is there a website where I can download the "make" program?

Thanks

Please use the search function. This same question was answered 12 hours ago on the General Forum.

My appologies.  I used to keep up with all of the forums but haven't looked at them in a few weeks.
:-O (Looks like this was in the FAQ's also)

Thanks Jon

If you try to download make and then compile it, you will quickly realize that there are dependencies you don't have (let alone a compiler).  Try the RedHat RPM.  This is still RedHat 7.1.

It is best to have a RH7.1 system to make on and then move the software to the Mitel box.
