Title: ERROR 700 at remoteaccess to ServerManager
Post by: Frank on June 27, 2002, 12:57:22 PM
Hi Folks,

another question,

trying to putty from my office to my E-Smith-Box end in Timeout, think that's my company's firewall because via modem connection to another ISP works fine.

When I try to access my ServerManager via https I receive following message

While trying to retrieve the URL: https://myip:980

The following error was encountered:

ERROR 700 -- The proxy-cache server is not configured properly for SSL/SNEWS or other tunnelling requests.
This means that:

Please contact your system administrator.

Is this my Squid or the Company's proxy ?

To be honest,

I checked the logfiles and examined that the WS in the office changes many times, now I added a subnet for remoteaccess and it works fine.

But still I try to find out which proxy that was ;)
