Title: port forward install?
Post by: Jeffrey on July 02, 2002, 01:34:24 AM
Hello,
I was hoping someone could help me to understand how to install the port-forward rpm's on my server? When I select the page, in the contributed files area, that explains this I get a "page not found". There are three files... one ending in "noarch.rpm" one ending in "src.rpm", and that last is "install.sh". Do I use them all? How?
Thank you all for your time,
Jeffrey

Hi,

You need at least the 'noarch.rpm'. The 'install.sh' make it more easy for you to install it.
Just enter: ./install.sh  in the dir you downloaded the files.

The 'src.rpm'  is the source code of the 'noarch.rpm'

Thank you!
I just didn't know what the "src.rpm" file was for... now I do.
