Post by: Alejandro on March 15, 2001, 01:36:37 AM
It's me again.
Is  my e-smith server suposed to do updates of my IP address with dyndns.org  whenever it changes?
If it's YES, "houston,.. we have a problem...."
My e-smith box is not updating my ip address as it changes (some times a day)
I'll look in th data base again.
but help could be as great as always!!
alejandro.

What exactly was the problem and how did you fix it?  I'm looking for details here as I think I have the same problem.

To use the dyndns.org client, you need the following (all are
set through the console):

DomainName=
DynDnsService=dyndns.org
DynDnsAccount=
DynDnsPassword=

For example, if you register frogpond.dyndns.org, you must have:

DomainName=frogpond.dyndns.org
