Title: server checkup tool
Post by: Julian Luton on July 06, 2002, 08:19:19 PM
Dear All,

I've now got about 12 e-smith servers running at different companies around town.
Does anyone know of a tool that I can run on my windows machine that will automatically keep an eye on these servers and tell me if any of them are down (so far 99% of outages have been the ISP's fault but it's nice to know before the client starts calling!).

All the best,
Julian Luton

I've used Big Brother successfully running on Windows & Linux.

Npulse is much simpler and therefore much easier to implement.  Details here:
