What do you mean 'hack'?
-
What errors do you get?
-
This seems related so I thought I would try posting it under this topic. My wife accesses her email on our SME Server from work using imp webmail , but is having trouble with it since I upgraded to SME 5.5.
She is able to login and read her messages, but she says "when I hit Reply, it gives me a popup telling me that I can't print from the browser. i cleared my cache and reopened a new browser window and everything..."
After a bit more questioning she says "i get a javascript error on the page but i don't know what it is". She is using IE 5.5.
I have other users (including myself) who are accessing their email without any problem. Anyone run into a similar problem or have any ideas as to what could be causing this?
Best Regards,
David Davis

It could be that your wife's IE is not allowing the use of Javascript

No, the message you show just indicates that a message you tried to send could not be delivered, either due to a DNS configuration problem, an invalid address, or because the "ASDF" exchange server is not configured correctly.

the hack was due to me leave a port open and its been cleared up... but i ran a clean install of the sme 5.5 and still the email is not beeping received but i can send it... the DNS may be but it handled by my ISP and they said it was fine for both www and email... i think i might be the differance in the to mail systems from 5.1.2 and to the 5.5.

In case anyone else experiences this problem, I installed imp 3.1.2 (Dan Brown's RPM), and it seems to have fixed it.
