Hi all,
I would like to know how to get direct shell acess on an e-smith 4.1 distrobution. I have the software up an running fine, however I am trying to see if I could install a web based contact management system as well (Keystone if you're wondering)
The system uses MySQL, PHP, and requires a tarball or CVS installation.
I feel a tad silly asking as normally at any box i would have this, however is it a configurable opting which my mind forgot during the install? Or is there some other fashion required?
Thanyou all again for your help

I am using keystone on 4.1.1 as a test, from suse 6.4 and have been very happy with both. I am away from the machine right now, but will be happy to discuss the setup with you.
It is obviously a little different via e-smith, but not all that difficult. I don't know your comfort level with e-smith, but before you get very far, the investment in time reading the sections pertaining to setting up i-bays, and console access are mandatory reading.
I will be happy to assist you in this, as it's a good example of the strenght of the e-smith approach.
