Title: unproper shutdown

hi,,,

   somebody know how to bring back e-smith 5.1.2 in the event that it is improperly shutdown and  generates error once it is rebooted,,,,,can someone give me some command or any couonter measures....

Christian,

I do not have an answer for you - based on what you have said in this post.  In order for people to help you with this problem you should post the error messages you are seeing when the server reboots.  I bet that once you post those here there will be people that can help you fix the problem, or at least identify what is the issue.  Good luck.

   the error is about damaged filesystem,,and tells me to use fsck,,,

then get into the shell, and run "fsck -f /dev/md1".

(or whatever your main disc partition is called)
