Hi Guys,
I'm currently using IMP 3.0 i'm planning to upgrade to IMP 3.1. How do i install imp3.1.tar.gz. It was already downloaded in my box. Is there rpm release for this?
Thanks
Mike

Yes, there is an RPM of IMP 3.1, in my contrib directory on ftp.e-smith.org.

Dan,
I don't really know what I want to ask. I'm not RPM literate yet, but does your rpm re-write any of the templates from mitel. How do/can you assure that nothing gets broken from a base 5.5 install. The reason is, I'd like to upgrade the horde framework to 2.1 so I can run kronolith, nag, and mnemo. I installed all of this on a test box and it will work, but I don't want to break anything from a stock install.
Thanks,
JB

My IMP RPM doesn't do anything to the templates, as the configuration for 3.0 and 3.1 is very similar. However, there really should be an updated e-smith-imp RPM to add a couple of options. I've also built a horde 2.1 RPM, which is available in the same place as the imp one.
Eventually I'll get around to building updated e-smith-horde and e-smith-imp RPMs, but I don't know when. For now, installing horde 2.1 and imp 3.1 on a 5.5. box shouldn't break anything else, but it may not work perfectly without some tweaking.

Thanks Dan.
