OK, I've searched and seen this topic come up over and over, but I've never seen a definitive answer to this common question:
The server is running in server/gateway, and works fine. My internal workgroup is all Win2k. I can VPN from the outside world (via another Win2k machaine) to the server with PPTP, and can view the contents of the server.
Great.
But here's the problem:
I can also view in Network Neighborhood all the computers on the network behind the gateway, but when I try to access those computers, I get an error message saying:
\ComputerX is not accessible
The network path was not found
Does anybody have any suggestions or a solution?
Thanks in advance....

I think that this is more like a Windows Networking issue than an SME or PPTP issue..
Chek that all workstations are on the same workgroup or domain (including those outside) and that the shares that should be accessable are open for the user account that you are logged in as on your workstation outside.
I hope that made some sence.
Let me know how it goes.

Dave,
Is there a software firewall on the VPN clients?
