Hi,
I have "domain1.dyndns.org" and I can receive mails for my users on that domain.
My problem is that I created "domain2.dyndns.org" and people from the internet can't send mail on that domain.
user1@domain1.dyndns.org is ok
user1@domain2.dyndns.org is not ok
Is it possible please ?
Oh by the way I searched the forum and found the following.. Dunno if it's what I'm looking for: http://www.dungog.net/sme/howto/vdomain.html
Regards,
Pierrick

The error is:
>: host master.homeunix.com[212.101.20.191] said: 552
Relaying denied for rcpt admin@master.homeunix.com

What version of E-Smith are you running??
Also how did you create your domains?
Have you set them up in server-manager? there is a section for virtual domains...

Oups sorry.. forgot to mention.. I'm using 5.1.2.
And I added the other domain in the virtual domains panel yup

You aren't trying to send mail using the e-smith server on the external ip address(via the internet). That is prevented via the smtp rules build into e-smith. Relaying isn't allowed. pop-before-smtp by Nathan Fowler will fix that though.

huh ?
Let's say a friend of mine who lives in Canada wants to send a mail over on admin@master.homeunix.com.
I'm in switzerland waiting for the mail.. I never receive it.
I have two domains
wxp.homeip.net and master.homeunix.com
wxp.homeip.net is the "first one" and master.homeunix.com is in the virtual hosts but I cant receive mails on it.
This is the problem

Do you have any antivirus software installed on your server?
-
Your antivirus scanner is the problem. I forced a new install of my scanner
and I just received my first e-mail on my second domain.
(rpm -i VexINS-AVMailGate-1.0-4.noarch.rpm --force)
Have fun, Renee
