Post by: Paul on July 23, 2002, 05:47:39 AM
I just noticed that when I do a cold boot on my esmith iron I have an option on the first screen in which I may select esmith or esmith-up using the arrow keys.....what is this?

thank you,

Paul

esmith is for SMP multiprocessor capabilities, and esmith-up stands for UniProcessor.

This will occur on some machines that are not multiprocessor machines. I had it on my P4.
