This may be a really stupid question, but I just don't know how!!
I'm currently trying to learn a bit about the netlogon scripts, but I ran into this problem:
When I map a drive (using "net use...") the drive name is pretty long ( "username on 'mitel networks sme...blah blah...(P:)" ).
Isn't there a command to rename the drive after you mapped it??
It would be really nice if the drivename was just "username (P:)"!!
I really hope someone can help me.
Thanks,
Stefan...

the "drive" is a mapped \servername\sharename
therefore the drive name will be "sharename on servername (drive-letter:)
In win98 that is all one gets. If you are getting more than that and are using a different OS (2k/xp) then you may have more luck checking out the local options.
