Title: ECS K7S5A Board
Post by: Zee Naushad on August 01, 2002, 01:53:51 AM
I am currently considering deploying an e-smith server, my question was.........

Does SME 5.5 support the ECS K7S5A Board fully?  In other words, will the built in NIC work, and also will SME detect and work properly with the SiS chipset?

From the Manual:

The following adapters will also be auto-detected by the SME Server software and have been reported by some users to work reliably, but they have not been tested:

Sis 900

Try to read this too:

I think it will work for you

I'm using that board on numerous operating systems, the e-smith server included.

It runs fin & recognizes the NIC with no problems.
