Hi All,

can anyone tell me what i need to do to stop pop-up windows when browsing, i am guessing it is something i can add to squid or a configuration change. Can anyone help with this i am running e-smith 5.5?

To test if it is working, go to

http://your_domain/bannerfilter/test.html

you should get a page that says 'It worked!' in bold letters. This proves that the re-director works.

Go to a page that serves pop-ups (I test by going to a geocities page) and check that it blanks the pop-up.

There is nothing else to do. The rpm also creates a cron job to run the update daily.
