Title: Backups to DVD

Hi all

I've setup an e-smith V5.5 box at a custumors site and installed a DVD-R/RW Drive, which is intended to be used as the backup meduim. I have also found and installed the cd_utils for SME and tested it. it works flawlessly, but, as the name suggests, does cd-bakups only.

Does anyone of you know a way, a package or even have an idea how to setup the DVD-R Drive as a backup medium? Is there a dvd-writing package available to linux? Maybe as a replacement for cdrecord?

Any help appreciated...

You could try the dvdrecord RPM from RedHat 7.3. That's if cdrecord doesn't work - recent versions seem to have some DVD support.
