Title: IMP Folder Creation Problem
Post by: Frank on August 17, 2002, 10:25:36 AM
Hi all,

I would like to create a sub-folder to sort and keep my emails. When I first create the first level folder (e.g. VENDORS), IMP can create and show it at the same directory level as INBOX. When I create a sub-folder (e.g. ABC) under VENDORS, IMP returns "folder VENDORS\ABC) is successfully create" but it cannot display on IMP screen, even though I refresh the IE screen or double-click the VENDORS folders. The folders being display are INBOX, sent-mail and VENDORS only. Any steps that I am missing? Please advise.

Thanks in advance
Frank

Make sure there is no mail in the Vendors folder.
A folder can only contain a folder OR a bunch of mail, but not both.

Hi Michiel,

Thanks for your info. I have tested by creating a new folder named as VENDOR and create a sub-folder inside this folder named as NEW. The panel message shows that "Folder VENDOR/NEW is created successfully" But when I refresh the IE and IMP folder navigation panel, the screen only show folder VENDOR. The same result is being observed even though I click the "Expand all" function. Would you advise more information or anyone has solution? TIA

Regards,
Mark
