Does anyone know the best way to stop people from using my server to spam users on my server. Someone sent a bunch of usrs on my server a spam e-mail where the from line on the e-mail was from an address on my server to the same address on my server.
The header info is redirecting all replies to aliibrahim111@37.com
I need to find out if they are using other addresses on my server to spam other people.

Also looks like someone deleted my outgoing messages and recipients file. When I pull it up under mail logs it's empty. :-(
I am using the newest version of e-smith.

Tyrone,
I don't think that anyone deleted your outgoing messages and recipients file. I just checked mine (5.5) and I got the same blank file.
As for the other part, have you checked your client pc's for virus's, in particular the klez virus which will send mails based on addressbook.

Some spammers will just spoof an address like that. Did they use something generic like "webmaster@yourdomain.com" or "postmaster@yourdomain.com" or something like that?
You might check this thread for more info on filtering spam:

You might look RAV Antivirus or something similar if you are worried about email virus sending email. You can also check into using procmail to filter mail.
