What could cause a new account on SME 5.5 to not be able to receive email, but able to send mail?
Incoming mail for the new account in question is hitting the server and just sitting in the queue. I verified this by changing the option in server-manager to deliver unknown senders to the admin account.
Thank you.

Check the qmail logs and you'll find out. Common reasons are permission problems or a delivery filter which won't run.

Many thanks for the reply Charlie.
I'm seeing the following in my qmail log for several test emails sent to the account in question. Strange thing is, I've deleted and recreated this account several times and it doesn't clear up the problem. Is almost like the username is on some kind of a black list of something.

I found the problem... Please disregard. In fact, I think I may have tripped across a bug with quotas on SME 5.5.
Will post to bugs@e-smith.org
