hi there,,
   i just want to share this experience that i have in generating my own ssl key,,,

i just follow this howto and it's great

I used it on both my Alpha (5.1.2 for alpha) and Proliant (5.5) and it worked fine. In fact I generated the Proliant key and certificate on my Alpha.
