I've got two SME boxes here, both exhibiting the same behaviour. I go to console, su, then:
mount /mnt/cdrom
And get the following error:
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/cdrom,
or too many mounted file systems
The relevant entry in /etc/fstab is as per default at installation:
/dev/cdrom /mnt/cdrom iso9660 noauto,owner,ro 0 0
What am I doing wrong?
Cheers,
Greg.

I was getting the same thing. Maybe it's related to ide-scsi?? Do you have any scsi devices installed?
-
Nope, I don't have any SCSI devices on either machine. I also don't have a SCSI controller on either machine.

Erk! I've committed a cardinal sin. When searching the boards the other day, I forgot to switch the search settings for "all dates" - it defaults to the last 30 days. I did that today, and voila...
