Title: test for media in CD drive

Is there a "test" that i can use to check wether a blank cd is in a cdwriter - I would like to prompt (by mail) a user before a backup??

anyone able to burn cue/bin combo's under SME with a CDR drive? I'm looking to get one of those painfully cheap $199 walmart lindows pc's and make it do all fileserving and archiving...
