Title: quota / domain logins
Post by: sabu on September 04, 2002, 01:01:28 PM
I have mounted my second hdd (40gb) to /home/e-smith/files/:

Filesystem            Size  Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/hda6             938M  772M  118M  87% /
/dev/hda1              11M  2.6M  8.2M  24% /boot
/dev/hdb1              37G   14G   21G  38% /home/e-smith/files

And continously recieve emails from my server, telling me that my quota is not available. When I try to edit the quota, no changes take effect. Also, my client computers are unable to login to the network via domain logins correctly, it occurs to me that these problems are related to my mounted hard disk. Could it be that the permissions are set wrong on and/or in my /home/e-smith/files dir?

Has anybody else experienced something similar?

Thanks in advance, sabu.
