Title: back up and desaster recovery

hi there,,,
   ive been a 5 months since using e-smith 5.1.2,,,and ,,,can any one share a backup plan and a recovery plan if any one occurs,,,,

Chris,

My job is disaster recovery but to answer your question isn't something anyone could answer here.  I assume you are after something abit more than a recovery diskette and a CD of 5.5 and a copy of the latest data files?

Before I go any further what are you after.  Are you after a backup strategy in case of a server failure or are you after a disaster recovery plan for the business?

I would be very interested in your opinion on the best plan for disaster recover for the server.
