Ok, here's my problem.  I deleted a couple of users, but when I send an email to allstaff (the name of the group I created) I get a bounce back from the server saying that blahblah@myserver.com is not a user.....and I've deleted that user.  Anyone have any suggestions?  I'm running 5.5 with Dan Brown's update to IMP and Horde, RAV antivirus, and haven't upgraded to the update 2.

Did you ever get a response to this question? I have the same problem. I deleted a user and then when mail is sent to a group that they belonged to the system send me a bounce message for them. Why is it trying to e-mail a deleted user? This is a 5.5 system that was upgraded from 5.1.2 to 5.5. These users were added under 5.1.2 and removed under 5.5. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Greg Bellamy

From the command line try issuing a:

# /sbin/e-smith/db accounts delete xyz

where xyz is the user-deleted account

I think that should remove them from the group membership as well......
