Title: ReiserFS in kernel 2.2.19-7.0
Post by: Jaime Nebrera on September 12, 2002, 11:18:04 PM
Hi Charlie and others,

I've just created a new kernel-2.2.19-7.0.8rfs.i386.rpm. This is a 2.2.19 kernel with ReiserFS support (of course available for everybody). The problem is that the ppp modules don't load properly (depmod fails: unresolved symbols), so i believe i should recompile these modules (recreating the ppp-2.4.0-12 package).

When i try to execute 'rpm -ba ppp.spec' the compiler fails in the auth.c because it doesn't found the smbpwd.h. I was trying to use the libsmb packages, but this seems not to work.

How could i integrate it in the ppp source rpm package?. How did you setup this ppp package, charlie?.

Regards.

Ok, this topic goes to devinfo list.

And Len, once we have it ready, we will publish it in our space in contribs.

  Thanks
