Title: SME 5.5 update2 vs. Blades

I'm fairly new to e-Smith, but I have set up a couple of servers. I do not understand the difference between the "blade" function for updates and the manual update process. When I install a fresh copy of 5.5 it shows update1 as a blade that can be installed. It installs sucessfully. Update 2 is in the updates area, but there is no equivalent "blade" showing up. Should I manually install update 2 on all my 5.5 installation?

The blade function I suppose, is for major upgrades. If I am not wrong, the ServiceLink Subscribers have blade 2 or 3. But not for non-subscribers. Perhaps the blades are not so critical for non-subscribers, so it wasn't published as a blade.

You can just download the updates and follow the Readme instructions and do the upgrade. Its real easy.
